Meet SEVS Judgement Day
SEVS Judgement Day is perhaps the most exclusive opportunity in all of team roping, with the added bonus of eligibility to the richest incentives in barrel racing, too.
The gray stallion first saw success with Hillary Hilzendeger in the barrels and Cody Hilzendeger in the heading. When life changed for his then-owners in the fall of 2023, SEVS Judgement Day sold to 2020 PRCA World Champion Header Colby Lovell at the Barrel Futurities of America Sale.
“I thought he was a real-deal head horse from the first steer I ran on him,” Lovell said. “He can go anywhere, and I think he can be one of the best head horses at the highest level.”
Lovell took him to the Clay Logan Open, where he turned plenty of heads, and since then, Lovell has seasoned the horse at the highest levels of rodeo and jackpot competition. The horse placed at the 2024 Bob Feist Invitational and made the CPRA finals the last two years. In 2025, SEVS Judgement Day was two-time World Champion Clay Smith’s NFR mount.
When the team at Theorem Ranch Texas went looking for a stallion to complement their great sire Stevie Rey Von, SEVS Judgement Day was the obvious choice. He’ll continue in competition with Lovell under the Theorem brand while standing to the public in 2026.

His colts are also eligible for the Colorado Classic and Ropers’ Classic.
